and let’s eyeball this a little bit. What I’m looking for is something in the.

Extremely Easy

Easy

Doable

or Not the Easiest category.

…and those categories are defined as follows.

Don’t Waste Your Time = 10,000 or more competing page

Difficult is 5,000 or more competing pages

Could be Tough is 3,000 or more

Not the easiest is 1,500 or more

Doable is 750 and up

Easy is 275 and up

…and anything below that is extremely easy.

Soyou would select the first item in the list and then hold down CTRL + SHIFT

and select the last not easiest if there was one if not just go down your list. Extremely Easy, Easy, Doable, and Not the Easiest.

DOUBLE RIGHT CLICK to copy those keywords to the clipboard.

and click ok

Now we need to get rid of some of the wierd characters that SENuke adds to the keyword so let’s open up a notepad and

CTRL + V to paste

Highlight the open bracket, the open curly brace and ListViewItem

copy that

Go to edit replace

and we want to paste those characters and replace it with nothing. So click on replace all.

Next we need to remove the close bracket and close curly brace.

And cancel out of the replace dialog box.

Copy those keywords

head on back to Google adwords editor

Paste them into the word or phrase box.

make sure we’ve got exact match and that only show ideas closely related to my search terms box is checked

and click on search

and the best keyword to me is best digital camera under 100 with 1000 local monthly searches it has a trends graph and there’s competitors already bidding on this in Google Adwords which means this keyword must be profitable for them.

Now am I going to stop there? Naw, of course not, for those of you guy who’ve seen my teaching style now that I teach up meaning I can’t just give morsels and nibbles and expect you to figure the rest on your own.

So let’s click on our winning keyword

which will open up a browser window. And over here on the left click on more search tools and then click on related searches.

and google will display the top related search for your keyword. So let’s copy those keywords. and paste them back into the word or phrase box.

best digital camera under 200

best digital camera under 150

best digital camera under 1000

best digital camera under 50

best digital camera under 10

And click on search

and now you can see that we’ve got even better results. Now copy our final winning keyword, and

paste it back into SENuke.

and select the intitle: and inanchor: Competition type.

and click on check competition.

and we see that it’s only 5 competing pages with our exact keyword in the title and the url. So, this keyword is looking sexy to me. And with an aged domain, which I cover in video #3, and proper on page SEO which is cover in video #4.

We will smoke those competing pages in no time. flat.

Now just a little disclaimer, would I stop there, nope!

I’d drill down even deeper on our final winning keyword and pull some additional long tail keywords and then I’d do an additional HIGH level analysis of the top search results to make sure we aren’t competing with some 100 pound guerillas, such as CNet, PCMag consumer reports etc.

Now I know that this was a lot of information so I’ve packaged it as a download with the video and the complete step-by-step walkthrough, pdf cheat.

Just accurately enter in your email address in the box below and you’ll get immediate access, this will also put you on the list so that you can get a notification and access to 4more free videos, tutorials and short courses.

If you thought this was something wait until see what I’ve got in store.

Now your action item is to down this video and the pdf guide, take the step-by-step cheat sheet, go over the cheat sheet along with the video.

Get your core keyword that you want to rank in the search engnes, ready for the next video. And I don’t recommend you taking the lazy route out and useing this keywords there are going to be thousands of people watching this and you’d be up against 1,000′s of other internet marketers, using the exact same tools that your going to be using.

So take some time and own this method and make it yours.

And do me a favor leave a comment below and let me know what you though of this video, and let me know what you’d like to know about about how I can help you get your business to the next level.

and on that note I’m off to make you the next video in this series and you’ll need to make sure that you are on the update to get access to the next 4 videos because can’t have our competion getting there little hands on these these strategies can we?

So just give me a couple of days to get the next video ready for you and I’ll see you in the next video.

So let’s head back to the niche research project. and let’s enter and a keyword to research and for this video.

Let’s just use digital cameras.

Go ahead and click on “Search for” and then Keywords on the Google Keyword Tool

a captcha dialog box is going to pop up.

However, I always cancel out of this and then just sign in directly into my Google ad words account. And the reason for that is because if you aren’t logged in Google will not show you the full set of ideas for your keyword searches.

And you could really miss out on some low hanging fruit. So I always just sign in. And once signed in you can

click on search for

and then

Keywords on Google Keyword Tool again

What this does is SENuke X will transfer the keyword that was in the keyword to research box over to the word or phrase box.

And it automatically searches for us so let’s just

sort our global monthly searches from ascending to descending order.

We need to make sure that ALL of the keywords with the most searches appear within the top 100 results. And you’ll see why in just a moment.

And over here on the left. Let’s entered in our core keyword in the include term box and click on that plus symbol.

And you should also note that there is a difference between a singular and a plural keywords.

so let’s enter in digital camera also

now let’s scroll to the bottom and let’s make sure that we are showing 100 rows

SENuke X grabs every keyword off of that page, so if you had left it at 50 then you would only get the first 50 keywords so we’re gonna Max that out to 100

Now let’s scroll back up and

let’s check this check box right here to select the first 100 results

and click on download and then selected

click download again

a file download dialog box will open

Click on open 2 times

we’re just going to open it. We don’t need to save it.

Now let’s copy our first 100 keywords

switch back to SENuke

let’s dismiss the small download window

and paste our 100 results back into Google ad words keyword tool in the word or phrase box

check only show ideas closely related to my search terms

now we want to select exact match ONLY

and hit the search button

NOW let’s click on advanced options

and let’s filter by local monthly searches

And let’s shoot for keywords that’s bringing in at least 500 local monthly searches

let’s add ANOTHER filter

And this time we will filter by low competition

and hit search

Let’s sort the Global Monthly searches column from biggest to smallest again to make sure that our high volume keywords appear on the first page.

and let’s click on copy keywords for batch research

…after SENuke X snatches those 100 keywords

let’s click on find competition

it’s going to analyze the keywords. And you’ll know when it’s done because this Stop Button will turn into Find Competition!

…and this request status will say “Difficulty Rating”

Once it’s finished analyzing the keywords. Let’s…

Expand this batch research window a little.

so that we can see all of the columns and

Sort the Google results

from lowest to highest…

Hey it’s Brian Valentine and I’m going to show you EXACTLY how to uncover and evaluate a profitable niche

… you see finding a good niche is the most important thing when you start any campaign. And I can’t emphasize this enough how important it is. It’s the foundation of any successful strategy.

You can do everything else right and have the most powerful piece of software at your disposal but if you select the wrong niche unfortunately you will fail.

For example, you could select an excellent niche with mediocre keywords and it might work out well for you or you might select a good niche with a mediocre landing page and you could still convert and be profitable.

So, let’s go ahead and click on new campaign to start our campaign and for this video. I’m just going to choose digital cameras.

Check the checkbox

…next to make this campaign a root campaign and

Click on save campaign

Now let’s bring out a toolbox by:

Clicking on new toolbox .

And let’s also bring out a niche research module by…

Clicking on new niche research

and let’s double-click on the niche research project… to open it.

Now there’s one thing that it’s for absolute certain with Internet marketing, and that’s if you select the wrong niche, no matter how good your landing page is and no matter what piece of software you’re using. There is a very good possibility and a very high probability that you will not succeed.

So let’s take a moment and talk about a profitable niche.

I know when I first got started with Internet marketing back in 2001 I thought a lot of the gurus were holding back on my when they spoke about niche selection.

And back then it was really tough because the only keyword tool that we had at our disposal was inventory.overture.com . Remember?

So that made it increasingly difficult to drill down and find the niche jackpot as I like to call it.

I like to think of keyword research as The Niche Jackpot and that’s because the term jackpot is a term referenced in gambling that describes something that is tough to achieve statistically speaking.

So many people think of niche selection just like as if they were pulling down on the slot machine arm and getting lucky and sometimes hitting the jackpot.

But anyone who is experienced in this business knows that that is not the case. That niche selection isn’t just random. It’s more like the movie 21 about those six MIT students who were counting cards. They didn’t win every time.

However, they increased their chances of winning by knowing the odds.

You can basically apply the same knowledge to your niche selection. It’s no accident that the same super affiliates continue to pick good niches. So what I’m about to show you is how to improve your skills and increase your chances of winning.

You see, it takes the same amount of time and effort to build an unsuccessful business online as it does to build a successful business. And the biggest factor that determines whether you succeed or fail are:

The market you choose

Google’s new system for indexing and delivering fresh content online, Caffeine, went live on June 8th. Before Caffeine, Google used to update their index every few weeks, now it is pretty close to real time, as shown in my last post about Caffeine. For websites who continually update their content on a regular basis, this is fabulous news. Because Google is updating their index in real time, they are always going to be looking for the freshest, most relevant content for any given search phrase.

What does this mean for website owners who are not updating their content on a regular basis? It means that over time, you just might find your site is getting replaced in the SERPs by those websites that do have a steady stream of content that they are publishing every day or every few days.

So, the biggest concern website owners have about Caffeine is how they are going to keep fresh content flowing to their website on a regular basis. I mean, it’s hard work to write fresh content each day around some topics like log homes, barns, or drawer slides.

If you have an SEO company to help you, this job is much easier. They should be willing to generate fresh, new content for you, or at the very least, provide a road map that will show you how to do it yourself. If you choose to do this yourself, you should spend some time finding a great, SEO friendly, content management system such as WordPress. This will allow you to quickly and easily add new content to your website as often as you wish.

It is also important to remember that Google and the other engines also index social media sites that you should be adding content to on a regular basis. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and others are great examples of sites that rank well in the SERPs. By adding content to these sites frequently, you can use their authority and credibility to start ranking well for the terms your potential customers are searching for. Then, through your profiles on these sites, you can funnel that search traffic to your website.

If you need some help getting started, here are some ways to keep adding new and refreshing content to your website and other social properties.

Blog, Blog, Blog – Blog every single day if at all possible.

Write and submit legitimate press releases.

Set up a Facebook page and link to it from the home page of your website. Invite your visitors to become a fan, now known as “Like” and add content on a regular basis.

Set up a Twitter account and start tweeting like a mad man!

Grab a Flip HD camera, or any video camera of choice, start shooting video about your products or services and load them up on your YouTube account.

Post pictures about your company on Flickr. You can add pictures of your employees, parties, corporate offices, products, or anything related to your company or industry.

I’m sure you get the picture.

One important thing to remember when trying to rank well in the SERPs is, that even if you are publishing content to your site on a regular basis, there is still going to be the competition factor. If the content you are creating is of poor quality or is super boring, someone else might be producing content that is high quality and exciting. This content will always deserve to rank higher and most likely will. So don’t be tempted to just add a bunch of nonsense to your site just to get the freshness factor, you should always build content with the end user in mind. Doing so will not only help you rank well, but help convert your visitors once they reach your website.

There are a few “no-nos” that you need to be aware about so that you don’t cause your rankings to plummet unexpectedly. You also want to know about these things so that you can protect yourself from attacks on your website by competitors (yes, it does happen).

Theoretically, if your “link velocity” is outrageous and you are building tens of thousands of “SPAMMY” backlinks to your site a day, that can hurt your rankings – maybe. But chances are, you can’t afford this and neither can your competitors. Even SPAM links cost money.

It is much more important to make sure you know where your outbound links are going. In fact, this is how the “no-follow” attribute got invented. Google does not like when your site links to “bad neighborhoods.”

Therefore, if you have a place on your site where you are allowing the public to place links, you need to make sure that every link added has the no-follow tag placed on it.

This can take some complicated programming, but it shouldn’t be too hard. If you’re using a blog, there are plugins that you can get that will automatically make all links in comments, no-follow. Or you can turn comments off if your blog is not interactive – because otherwise it will just attract link SPAM anyway.

The next thing you don’t want to do is anything “Black-Hat”, SPAMMY, or malicious. If you do certain tactics like cloaking under false pretenses, commit massive link SPAM (mentioned above), or do anything with the intent of harming a visitor or search engine user, Google is going to de-index your site eventually. And if your site is on a “SPAMMY topic” like Viagra, then don’t expect to be a hit with human reviewers.

Also, it is considered bad practice to buy links from known “link brokers.” There is a difference between doing a “Gray-Hat” technique like placing links (by humans) on publicly viewable profiles and buying tens of thousands of links to be placed on link farms by robots. If Google can detect that you’re doing this, they will either not pay attention to your links (waste of money) or de-index you (big waste of money). Make sure that your site operates correctly 99.9% of the time. If your server has frequent downtime or is inaccessible to users, Google will not like that.

Don’t keyword stuff or do stuffing of any time (except on Thanksgiving). This doesn’t help rankings and if a human reviewer sees it, your site can de-indexed fast.

Don’t put text of the same color as the background on the site. This is shady and normally these tactics do not help rankings. Again, if Google finds out, they will most likely penalize you. Follow these rules and protect yourself against attacks and you will most likely not run into any “de-indexing” problems.

For anything to work well, care must be taken to make firm, workable plans to execute it and the same goes for website designs. With a well thought out website design, you will be able to create a site that generates multiple streams of revenue for you. In fact, may websites turn into online wasteland because they are not well planned and do not get a single visitor. Gradually, the webmaster will not be motivated to update it anymore and it turns into wasted cyberspace.

The crucial point of planning your site is optimizing it for revenue if you want to gain any income from the site. Divide your site into major blocks, ordered by themes, and start building new pages and subsections in those blocks. For example, you might have a “food” section, an “accomodation” section and an “entertainment” section for a tourism site. You can then write and publish relevant articles in the respective sections to attract a stream of traffic that comes looking for further information.

When you have a broader, better-defined scope of themes for your website, you can sell space on your pages to people interested in advertising on your page. You can also earn from programs like Google’s Adsense and Yahoo! Search Marketing if people surf to those themed pages and click on the ads. For this very reason, the advertisement blocks on your pages need to be relevant to the content, so a themed page fits that criteria perfectly.

As Internet becomes more widespread, advertising on the Internet will bear more results than on magazines or offline media. Hence, start tapping in on this lucrative stream of profit right away!

A sitemap is often considered redundant in the process of building a website, and that is indeed the fact if you made a sitemap for the sake of having one. By highlighting the importance of having a well constructed sitemap, you will be able to tailor your own sitemap to suit your own needs.

1) Navigation purposes

A sitemap literally acts as a map of your site. If your visitors browses your site and gets lost between the thousands of pages on your site, they can always refer to your sitemap to see where they are, and navigate through your pages with the utmost ease.

2) Conveying your site’s theme

When your visitors load up your sitemap, they will get the gist of your site within a very short amount of time. There is no need to get the “big picture” of your site by reading through each page, and by doing that you will be saving your visitors’ time.

3) Site optimization purposes

When you create a sitemap, you are actually creating a single page which contains links to every single page on your site. Imagine what happens when search engine robots hit this page — they will follow the links on the sitemap and naturally every single page of your site gets indexed by search engines! It is also for this purpose that a link to the sitemap has to be placed prominently on the front page of your website.

4) Organization and relevance

A sitemap enables you to have a complete bird’s eye view of your site structure, and whenever you need to add new content or new sections, you will be able to take the existing hierarchy into consideration just by glancing at the sitemap. As a result, you will have a perfectly organized site with everything sorted according to their relevance.

From the above reasons, it is most important to implement a sitemap for website projects with a considerable size. Through this way, you will be able to keep your website easily accesible and neatly organized for everyone.
